Ghanaian youngster, Clinton Dombila excelled very well for FC Ararat Yerevan in their narrow and crucial 0-1 away win at FC Shirak Gyumri in match-day 34 of the IDBank Premier League.

The 19-year-old made the starting line up for the second consecutive time following his performance in the last game and once again exhibited another gallant display to help his team steal all three points.

The game wasn't an easy one for the White Eagles but managed to secure the win away from home, thanks to Gor Malakyan's 47th minute.

Clinton's stupendous display earned him Ararat's man of the match award with a 100% in the fans voting, having won over teammates Gor Malakyan, Rayen Mzoughi and Hadji Moustapha.

He was unplayable as he is always spot on with positional awareness in defence and his ability to join the attack and also race back as quick as possible anytime they are under a threat proves why deserves much playing time.

The JMG Academy graduate has been sensational for the Red-Whites since joining them prior to the start of the season and his outstanding performance earned him a permanent spot in the first team having served as a fringe in the first round.

FC Ararat Yerevan have now climbed up to the 5th position with 44 points and are just a place away from securing European football spot.

FC Ararat Yerevan will return home to host Alashkert in the next round of matches on Monday, May 20, 2024.
