Ghana striker Inaki Williams continued his impressive performance for Athletic Bilbao with a sixth La Liga to rescue them a defeat to Girona on Monday evening.
Athletic Bilbao have moved to fifth place on the log after holding Girona to a 1-1 stalemate in their match-week 14 fixture at the Estadi Municipal de Montilivi.
After lack of goals in the first half, Viktor Tsygankov opened the scoring for the host in the 55th minute before the Ghana international restored the parity in the 68th minute of the game.
Williams brilliantly registered his name on the score when he connected a pass from Oihan Sancet to secure a point for Athletic Bilbao.
The 29-year-old centre-forward lasted for 89 minute before he was replaced by Malcom Ares Ares Djalo.
Inaki Williams has now scored six goals and provided three assists in 14 La Liga matches for Bilbao.
