Spanish-born Ghanaian striker, Iñaki Williams found the back of the net again for Athletic Club in their second pre-season win in an exciting and competitive game against Osasuna last Saturday at the Estadio Nuevo Lasesarre.
The 30-year-old made the starting XI and played a pivotal role having netted the match winner in the second half and serged on to enjoy full throttle in the game.
The Lions opened the scoring account on the 19th minute mark through Alvaro Djaló who struck into the roof of the post giving the goalkeeper no chance but his lead was cancelled out seven minutes later by Raúl Garcia.
On the 65th minute, Iñaki Williams scored to restore their lead and what looked like a match-winner having controlled just at the edge of the box and curled into the top corner.
The lanky forward has now netted two goals in the pre-season having already scored against Racing de Santander and will hope to continue with the same momentum heading into the new season.
The Red-Whites will continue with their preparations as they play as guests to Premier League side Aston Villa on Wednesday, August 7.
