Ghanaian young sensation Ibrahim Osman since the start of last week has strongly being linked with a move to Premier League side West Ham United- a development which was later confirmed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, to confirm the authenticity of the story.
However, there's a different twist as your trusted sports hub Kickgh.com earlier today reported that, the move has collapsed due to multiple agents drama.
This drama involved the player's rightful agent Darryl Powell and two others in the persons of King Osei Gyan and Mitch Bakkovens- who per the details are trying to steal Ibrahim Osman with incentives.
Here's the full details:
Former Right to Dream graduate, King Osei Gyan, plays a hidden role in the collapse of Osman Ibrahim's West Ham move
Mitch Bakkovens' involvement in Osman Ibrahims move to West Ham breaking down has a concealed narrative.
Our sources in Ghana revealed that, King Osei Gyan, a former Right to Dream Academy graduate and employee, orchestrated the agent drama. King Osei Gyan introduced Osman Ibrahim to Mitch Bakkovens, who invested approximately $300,000 in a house, car, etc for Osman and family. This investment aimed to steer them away from Osman's rightful agent, Darryl Powell, violating FIFA's FFAR rules.
According to the FIFA Football Agents Regulations (FFAR) as of 2024, it is illegal as no agent is allowed to approach a player who is bound by an exclusive contract by another agent until the player has only two months left in his contract and furthermore agents are not allowed to use incentives to persuade a player.
Our sources suggest that, this move by Mitch Bakkovens and King Osei Gyan, along with lies fabricated by them persuaded Osman Ibrahim into entering a contract with Mitch Bakkovens even though he legally was contracted to Darryl Powell and according to the Danish Media “BT Sports” both Osman Ibrahim and Mitch Bakkovens where made aware of this, we presume they ignored this notice as the same media reported that Mitch was behind the West Ham move.
The house purchased by Mitch Bakkovens was posted by Osman’s Dad Osman Fusieni in a Facebook post on the November 26, 2023, a post he later took down.
We believe this is the course of the reason Osman’s rightful agent Darryl Powell of Paramount Sports Management filed a case to the Danish football federation. Allegedly Darryl Powell had offers and interest from premier league clubs and clubs in the top 5 leagues in Europe for Osman Ibrahim before he was introduced to Mitch Bakkovens by King Osei Gyan.
