Ghanaian young midfielder, Lawrence Agyekum over the moon after making his debut for Austrian giants, Redbull Salzburg.
The former West African Football Academy (WAFA) midfielder made his first appearance for the senior side of RB Salzburg in their 3:2 victory over SCR Altach in the Austrian Bundesliga.
The 18-year-old played 30 minutes for RB Salzburg after replacing Sekou Koita.
The mercurial midfielder joined RB Salzburg from then Ghana Premier League side, WAFA in 2021.
Agyekum said he's excited to finally make his competitive debut for RB Salzburg.
"I am very excited to make my first team appearance, It was a great joy seeing myself in the first team jersey and making my debut," Agyekum said.
"Putting up a good performance and helping my team win was a stepping stone to great achievements ahead. Indeed, dreams come true and I’m grateful to God," he added.
He spent last season with Liefering, the junior side of RB Salzburg.
