Ghana defender Jerome Opoku will star in Europe next season with Istanbul Basaksehir after helping them to secure qualification.
The Turkish minnows secured an European spot after beating Sivasspor 1-0 on Sunday and will compete with the big dogs in either the Europa or Conference League depending on their final position on the league table.
With just two games to bring the Turkish Super Liga season to a closure - the Istanbul club are currently sitting fourth on the log, three points beneath third place Trabzonspor.
Basaksehir will hope to garner plenty of momentum and qualify for the Europa League by leapfroging Trabzonspor at the end of the campaign.
Opoku, however, took to X to share his elation after his club raked-up qualification.
Opoku has featured in 26 games, netting four goals and providing an assist for Basaksehir in the ongoing campaign.
