The German-born Ghanaian midfielder is one of the surprise inclusions in Ecuador’s 26-man final Copa America squad announced.
Ecuador will be seeking to make a mark at the 2024 Copa America, to be held in the United States, as they are set to make their 30th appearance at the quadrennial international championship, scheduled to start off on Thursday, June 20, 2024 – Sunday, July 14, 2024.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has had a phenomenal season with Raków Częstochowa in the Polish Premier League, netting 3 goals and creating five assists in 30 appearances.
Yeboah, who was born in Hamburg, to a Ghanaian father and Ecuadorian mother, has featured for the youth teams of Germany in the past but has never represented 'Die Mannschaft' at a major tournament.
