Asante Kotoko defender Joseph Amoah has officially joined one of Africa’s leading sports agencies based in South Africa, D.D Sports, marking a new step in his professional career.
The agency represents several notable footballers, including Loris Karius, Wesley, Rayan and Oli McBurnie, and will now oversee Amoah’s representation in club-related negotiations and potential future transfers.
Under the agreement, the agency will act on Amoah’s behalf in discussions involving his current club, Asante Kotoko, as well as any negotiations surrounding a possible move to another team.
The 22-year-old has been one of Kotoko’s impressive performers this season, particularly after being converted from left-back to centre-back.
The versatile defender has adapted well to the new position, showing encouraging performances in the heart of the defence and is now the constant figure there.
His new representation comes as he continues to establish himself at Kotoko, with the agency expected to handle negotiations and advise on opportunities concerning the next stages of his career.
Joseph Amoah will once again hope to make the starting line-up when Asante Kotoko host Young Apostles tomorrow, October 18, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
