Ghana forward Joseph Paintsil scored in KRC Genk pulsating home draw with KVC Westerlo in the Belgian Jupilier Pro League on Sunday afternoon.

KRC Genk winless streak in the Belgian top-flight league was extended to three after their match-week nine game against KVC Westerlo ended in a 3-3 stalemate at the Cegeka Arena.

The host took the lead through Daniel Munoz in the 11th minute but it was equalized by Lucas Stassin of KVC Westerlo after just seven minutes.

On the stroke of the break, Joris Kayembe restored the lead for KRC Genk and unfortunately played the entire duration of the second half as a manless side when Ghanaian youngster Christopher Bonsu Baah was shown a straight red card for a horrible tackle on Nacer Chadli.

Paintsil brilliantly extended their lead to 3-1 with his strike in the 50th minute of the game.

However, Lucas Stassin reduced the deficit for the visitors and the 88th minute curler from Tuur Rommens ended the match in a 3-3 draw at the Cegeka Arena.

The Black Stars winger lasted for 80 minute before his place was taken by Alieu Fadera.

Paintsil, 25, has score two goals and provided three assists in 9 league games for KRC Genk this season so far.
