Premier League side Everton have shown strong interest in signing Black Stars captain Andre Ayew who is currently unattached.
The Ghanaian international couple of days ago terminated his contract with Qatari top-tier club Al-Sadd by mutual consent and is now on the lookout for a new club.
The Toffees are hoping to strengthen their squad with some few additions to get their season back on track and are having their sights set on two Ghanaians at the moment; Kamaldeen Sulemana and Andre Ayew.
Ayew joined Al-Sadd on a free transfer prior to the commencement of the 2021/22 season after ending his stay at English Championship side Swansea City.
Ayew managed 20 goal involvements; 18 goals and 2 assists in 30 outings for the reigning Qatari champions Al-Sadd.
He won the Qatar Stars League in his first season with the club an subsequently added the Emir of Qatar Cup.
Ayew still had five months left on his two-year contract with but unfortunately couldn't exhaust before his time.
