The ltalian giants have reportedly joined the queue in chasing the 22-year-old winger of Ghanaian descent in an effort to prise him away from the German outfit in the summer
Serie A heavyweights Juventus have joined the race to sign German-born Ghanaian winger Ernest Poku from Bundesliga heavyweights Bayer Leverkusen, a report from the ltalian media has indicated.
After joining the BayArena campaigners on a five-year contract from Dutch Eredivisie side AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2025, the Ghana-prospect winger has already taken the German top-flight by storm having netted 6 times and assisting 9 in 36 appearances across all competitions so far this season.
According to ltalian tabloid Tuttosport, the Old Lady scouts were in the stands to keep a close eye on the Ghana-prospect wideman during the first leg of the Champions League playoffs between Bayer Leverkusen and Olympiacos last week.
Aside Juventus, Serie A rivals SSC Napoli are also currently in the running for the signature of the 22-year-old winger ahead of the summer transfer window.
With his running contract set to expire in 2030, those that are vying for his signature must splash a fee of €20 million on his head if they are to land him in the summer as per his transfermarkt valuation.
Given his Ghanaian heritage, the Hamburg-born winger still remains eligible to play for Ghana on the international stage having played for The Netherlands national youth teams.
