Newly-named Southampton manager, Ivan Juric has lauded the qualities of Black Stars winger Kamaldeen Sulemana and really want him during his entire time at the St Mary's Stadium.
The 22-year-old has had a difficult stint at the Saints since arriving from Stade Rennes two seasons ago, but somehow redeemed himself with a goal and an assist in Southampton's 3-0 win over Championship side Swansea City to cruise into the next round of the English FA Cup.
Sulemana's performance over the weekend is expected to be a stepping stone and also boost his confidence level to continue to deliver similar performances in their subsequent games.
Speaking after the game, Ivan Juric - who came in to replace Russell Martin, stated Kamaldeen is someone he's known for sometime now even during his days in France and will be really counting on him to turn the fortunes of Southampton.
"He's a young player who needs confidence, but he can really help the team. I knew him before and understand everything about his time in France and the challenges he's faced here. I believe he's a good player, and right now, good players need to stay at Southampton."
Bottom of the Premier League with just one win all season so far, the Saints have had little to celebrate this season, but were far too good for Swansea.
Kamaldeen Sulemana has made 12 appearances for Southampton in the ongoing season with a goal and two assists to his credit.
