Right to Dream Academy graduate from Ghana, Kelvin Owusu Boateng feels very excited to join his new club First Vienna FC and waded into the factors that led him to that decision.

The 23 year old completed the move and signed a two year deal with the Blue and Yellows couple of days ago after a fruitful negotiation.

 
Reacting for the first time after the switch, Kelvin Boateng said he needed a club who will focus more on the development of young players and also offer them the platform to succeed and believes Vienna was the perfect choice.
 
"I'm very happy to be a Vienna player with immediate effect. It was important for me to switch to a club with a familiar environment, where young players are counted on and I can develop further. I'm looking forward to experiencing the club, the stadium, and the fans up close," he concluded
 
The enterprising striker had a stellar campaign last season, having netted four goals and provided one assist in 30 appearances in all competitions.
 
He hopes to have a bright start at his new club and subsequently establish himself as a mainstay and one of the supporter's favourite at the Hohe Warte Stadium.
 
The lethal forward graduated from Right to Dream Academy in 2018 and joined Portuguese side CD Aves- where he subsequently had loan spells at FC Porto B but couldn't walk through their senior team until he seeked for a new challenge elsewhere
