Medeama SC winger Kelvin Nkrumah is on the verge of completing a move to Portuguese giants FC Porto in what is expected to be one of the biggest transfers involving a Ghana Premier League youngster this summer.
The 19-year-old has attracted interest from the Portuguese club following two outstanding seasons with Medeama, where he developed into one of the most exciting young prospects in Ghanaian football.
Nkrumah has made 57 appearances in the last two Ghana Premier League campaigns and featured in 30 league matches during the 2025/26 season, scoring two goals while impressing with his composure, work rate and tactical awareness.
His rapid rise has also seen him entrusted with the captaincy of Ghana’s Black Satellites at the ongoing WAFU Zone B U-20 Championship, underlining his growing influence at both club and international level.
A move to FC Porto would mark another major step in the youngster’s career, offering him the opportunity to continue his development at one of Portugal’s most successful clubs while showcasing his talent on the European stage.
