A transfer move on loan to the WWK Arena outfit is on course as the 22-year-old is set to undertake his medicals in the coming hours in Germany
Ghanaian winger Kelvin Yeboah has landed in Germany to undergo medical assessments with Bundesliga side FC Augsburg, according to emerging reports from the Italian media.
Having struggled for form with his Italian lower-tier side this term, the former Sturm Graz flanks man is set to proceed on loan to Germany and could put pen to papper if he's given a clean bill of health by the medics of the Augsburg-based club later today.
Reports from the ltalian press have claimed that the Bundesliga outfit will have the option to make Yeboah's loan deal permanent should he live up to his billings at the end of the league campaign.
He has so far managed 11 appearances by scoring and assisting onces in the ongoing Serie B league campaign for Genoa CFC.
Having been born in Accra, the 22-year-old is still qualified to play for Ghana at the international stage despite playing for the Italy U-21 national youth team.
Yeboah is a nephew to former Black Stars striker, Anthony Yeboah who once said it would be "fantastic" to see his protégé plying his trade in the Bundesliga, having told Sport1: "It would be fantastic to see Kelvin of the Bundesliga."
