The Ghanaian-born Togolese international has put-pen-to-paper on a two-year deal with Dinamo București ahead of next season's Romanian top tier league.
The Red Dogs announced the acquisition of Boateng on a free transfer via their communication routes on Monday.
The former WAFA SC and LASK Linz centre-back arrives after a season in Austria top flight with Lustenau.
Boateng featured in 17 league games in the Bundesliga during the 2023-24 campaign.
He has also had spells at Austria's SV Ried (2019–2021) and Portuguese club Santa Clara from 2021–2023.
