KF Egnatia Rrogozhinë's president, Agim Demrozi, has made a heartfelt announcement: the club's forthcoming stadium will be named in tribute to the late Raphael Dwamena, a former striker who left an indelible mark on the team.
Dwamena joined the Albanian side in December 2022, signing a contract that was later extended to two years.
Tragically, his life was cut short in November when he collapsed during a league match against Partizani, losing consciousness in the 23rd minute. Despite immediate medical attention, Dwamena sadly passed away upon arrival at the hospital.
In honor of his memory and contributions to the team, the club has decided to name their new stadium after the 28-year-old striker.
This gesture serves as a testament to Dwamena's impact on the club and his enduring legacy in the world of football.
