The pleasant news is that, Ghanaian sensation Kudus Mohammed has now fully recovered and is looking poised and ready to do battle in their league fixture against AZ Alkmaar on Saturday night, Ajax confirm.

Kudus, who suffered a hamstring injury during Ajax's 2-1 win over Feyenoord in the Dutch Cup semi-final earlier this month, has missed the club's last three matches, including a loss to PSV Eindhoven in the league and wins over Fortuna Sittard and Emmen.

The mercurial playmaker hasn't featured again but was very optimistic of retuning onto the pitch very soon as many doubted he could be out for the rest of the season.

The 22 year old, resumed training last week and joined his teammates but wasn't really fully fit as manager Martin Heitinga dropped him for the KNVB Cup final of which they lost once again to PSV Eindhoven via penalty shootouts last week at De Kuip.

The Jews are definitely on the verge of a trophyless season, having already lost the Shield and Dutch Cup. Also, Feyenoord are so close to dethroning them to win this year's Eredivise.
