Former Ajax boss, Adriaan de Mos believes that Mohammed Kudus has been a victim of tactical experiments, and urged Alfred Schreuder to play him as a number ten.
Mohammed Kudus has been mostly used as a false nine at Ajax this season.
The 22-year-old has lived up to the billing with ten goals in twenty-one games for the Amsterdam giants.
There've been calls for Alfred Schreuder to play both Mohammed Kudus and Brian Brobbey, who shares the number nine spot with Kudus, in games.
Mohammed Kudus plays in his preferred number ten play making role when he features for Ghana.
Adriaan de Mos insists that Mohammed Kudus has been a victim of tactical experiments, and thinks that Alfred Schreuder should play both of them for Ajax.
"I think there is one position where he can work well. That is the position he also played in Ghana. This boy wants to work, move and get into the box with the ball. That's a nice thing, but he shouldn't be the victim of tactical experiments." he told SoccerNews.nl.
"It is now, as a false number 9. That boy does it, but he is not really. My advice is to set him up as 10 and leave Brobbey at 9. You get two good players in return," he added.
