Ajax gaffer Alfred Schreuder reveals that Mohammed Kudus has met Jax leadership to discuss his future.
Mohammed Kudus has informed Ajax about his desire to seek more playing time.
The 22-year-old has been used as a substitute so far this season in the Eredivisie.
The Black Stars midfielder is in contention to make Otto Addo's Ghana squad for the World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana have been drawn with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in the group stage.
Ajax are currently on top of the Dutch League with nine points after three games.
Alfred Schreuder says they've spoken to Mohammed Kudus three times about his playing time at Ajax this season.
"We've spoken with him three times, because of course he also thinks he should play," he said.
"He handles it well. Of course I see that he is disappointed now and then. That is also good and normal. You can keep emotion in check for the team. He handles that well. Today he showed a high level," he concluded.
