Inform Kudus Mohammed was on target for AFC Ajax in their hard fought 1-1 stalemate against English giants Liverpool in the second round of matches of the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League.
The Reds jittery start nearly continued but a last gasp goal propelled them to a precious victory over the Jews to halt their two game winless run.
Liverpool opened the scoring account through Egyptian international Mohammed Salah on the 17th minute before Joel Matip snatched the winner with a minute to full time.
Kudus Mohammed as usual, was outstanding in the game and scored a beauty with a thunderbolt of a strike on the 27th minute to bring Ajax on level but wasn't enough to earn them a draw in Merseyside.
Ajax despite the defeat are still sitting at the summit of Group A with three points plus of three goals and will host current Serie A leaders SSC Napoli at the Johan Cruijff Arena next month.
