Ghanaian attacker Kwadwo Duah' scored a classy goal in the German Bundesliga 2 for FC Nürnberg on Saturday afternoon against Fortuna Dusseldorf.

The 25-year-old was paired upfront with German international - Christoph Daferner to unleash the inferno which later on made way for the away side to score the only goal of the match in the 47th minute, via Kwadwo Duah's breathtaking goal.

However, It was a match of few chances, with Düsseldorf dominating possession and looking comfortable but unable to penetrate a resolute Nürnberg defence.

Many of the hosts attacks came through German-born Nigerian left-winger, Emmanuel Edosa Iyoha, who tied the Nürnberg defence in knots on numerous occasions but was unable to deliver the killer pass to create a chance for his teammates to nip it at the back of the net.

But the game finally turned in Nürnberg's' favour just two minutes after recess, when Castrop sent a sweet cross to Duah, who gasped and fired home, despite the best efforts of Dusseldorf keeper Florian Kastenmeier.

The narrow win lifts Nürnberg out of the relegation zone, taking them above Greuther Fürth who drop down to 16th on the log.

Duah, who is a former BSC Young Boys marksman has netted four goals in twelve appearances for the Old Master's in the German Bundesliga 2 this season.
