Ghanaian striker Kwaku osei Bonsu notched his first league goal in Al Kharaitiyat 3-2 defeat against Al Shahaniya at the Al-Khor Stadium.
The former Bechem United marksman scored his goal in the dying embers of the match (90th minute) as Al Kharaitiyat succumbed to the defeat at home in the matchweek 7 fixture.
Bonsu, 23, joined the Qatari side from Serbian club FK Spartak Subotica in the summer, hoping to accrue enough match minutes under his belt after a slow start in the Serbian Superliga.
Despite the defeat to Al Shahaniya, the young Ghanaian proved his mettle on the field of play with his silky runs and passes upfront and around the flanks.
