Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has handed a late call-up to Real Oviedo midfielder Kwasi Sibo ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Mali next week.
The Spanish-based defensive midfielder has received a late call-up to the Ghana squad ahead of their crunch 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mali on Monday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Sibo’s inclusion comes as Otto Addo looks to bolster his midfield options after the Black Stars’ 1-1 embarrassing draw against Chad in N’Djamena on Thursday afternoon.
The 27-year-old has been in impressive form for Oviedo, where he played a crucial role in their successful promotion campaign to La Liga last season.
Sibo, who is a product of Cheetah FC, has featured in all three La Liga matches for Real Oviedo in the ongoing season's campaign.
