Leeroy Owusu provided an assist as Odense BK lost 2-1 to Lyngby in Friday’s Danish Superliga game at Nature Energy Park.
The right-back was handed his 25th league start and gave a good account of himself, although his effort was not enough to save his side from defeat.
Owusu formed a four-man midfield for the Striped's along with former Germany U20 star Tom Trybull, Max Ejdum and Norwegian Born Thailand international Nicholas Mickelson.
Odense BK began the game on the front foot notching home to open the scoring in the 13th minute through Luca Kjerrumgaard.
Owusu was the chief architect of the goal as he set up Luca Kjerrumgaard with a fine pass.
The 27-year-old Ghanaian has now been directly involved in Odense BK's three Superliga goals this season, featuring in 25 league games.
Moments before the half-time break, striker Andri Gudjohnsen scored to snatch the equaliser for Lyngby.
14 minutes to recess, Sævar Magnússon scored the second goal for Lyngby which later turned out to be the match-winning goal in the 31st minute.
