Ghanaian international forward, Bernard Tekpetey, who plays for Bulgarian topflight side Ludogorets Razgrad, has his sights set on only one target at the the moment and that's to secure a money zone spot in the 2023/24 UEFA Europa League season.
The Eagles will host Dutch giants AFC Ajax this evening in the first leg of the final round of qualifiers, having dropped from the Champions League after being evicted by Slovenian side Olimpija Ljubljana.
They will have to secure a favourable results tonight in order to enhance their qualification chances before the return leg in Amsterdam next week.
Tekpetey, who has netted six goals in nine matches so far this season, has spoken highly of Ajax but added they are desperate and poised to conquer the tie in order to advance into the group stages.
"When you with such team, you have to stay calm, relax and think about the game. I'm really calm and we just have to stick to the plan and what coach will us."
"We wanted to play in the UCL but are currently in the Europa League and will hope to qualify to the group stage."
