Manchester Utd manager Ruben Amorim has lauded in-form Ghana international forward Antoine Semenyo by labelling him ''a special player,'' given his fantastic outings with league rivals Bournemouth in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old has seen a transfer move away from his current employers mooted, with English top dogs including Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham and Manchester Utd all being credited with a move for his signature ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.
ln addressing the transfer speculation linking the Red Devils to the former Bristol City man, the ex-Sporting CP boss told Sky Sports ahead of tonight's Premier League clash with the Cherries at Old Trafford: ''No, it’s not that case. I think there is a lot of special players in the league. What I feel is, to summarise, top manager, top team. I really like the team and the top player. I think he (Antoine Semenyo) is a special player.”
Semenyo, who has been tipped to line up for Spanish giants Real Madrid by former Watford striker Troy Deeney, has so far netted six times and assisted three in 15 appearances across all competitions for Bournemouth in this current 2025/26 football season.
He currently boasts of 32 caps with the Ghana Senior National Team on the international stage with 3 goals to his name.
