Young Ghanaian footballer Mathew Anim Cudjoe has described his manager Samuel Anim Addo as a blessing to his fast-rising football career.

Anim Addo, a former Executive Council Member of the Ghana FA, who doubles as the leader of Ghana Premier League promoted outfit Young Apostle, is noted for raising talents for the country.

He has managed Ghana’s all-time top scorer Asamoah Gyan and other players who have also played at the highest level.

Anim Cudjoe, 20, is one of the players to have passed through the hands of the former Ghana FA Executive Council member.

The former Ghana U20 winger started his playing career with Young Apostles before joining Asante Kotoko after gaining prominence following his exploits with the Black Satellites.

However, Anim Cudjoe has taken to social media to express gratitude to Anim Addo for the influential role he has played in his career, saying he is a Godsend.

“Meeting you has always been a blessing. I really appreciate every moment, happiness, and all the things you have been through just to get the best in me. Indeed, you are God sent to me. Daddy, I love you,” he wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The 20-year-old joined Dundee United in August 2021 and made a good account of himself. In the just-concluded season, he racked up 4 goals and delivered 3 assists in 22 games as they gained promotion to the top-flight.

He is currently without a club following the expiration of his contract at the end of May.
