Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has earned a nomination for the EA Sports Premier League Player of the Month for December 2023.
Demonstrating stellar performances, Kudus played a crucial role in West Ham United's successful month, securing four wins and a draw from six Premier League fixtures.
Kudus showcased his goal-scoring prowess by finding the net four times during these matches. His notable contributions included the opening goal in a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace, where he calmly finished inside the box after receiving a first-time pass from Vladimír Coufal.
In the 3-0 home victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers, Kudus scored twice, first breaking through on the counter-attack and later slotting home calmly after a well-timed through ball from Lucas Paquetá.
A week later, in the 2-0 win against Manchester United, Kudus secured three points with a fantastic right-footed effort from a Paquetá pass. The midfielder's performances have garnered recognition, placing him among the nominees for the December award.
Other contenders for the accolade include Dominic Solanke and Marcos Senesi of AFC Bournemouth, Cole Palmer from Chelsea, Trent Alexander-Arnold of Liverpool, Matheus Cunha from Wolves, Michael Olise of Crystal Palace, and Tottenham Hotspur captain Son Heung-min.
