Egypt based Moro Salifu returned to the Al Ittihad starting line-up and scored an exceptional 28th minute goal in his side’s 3-1 thumping of National Bank of Egypt.
The Ghanaian midfield dynamo grabbed the chance to up his sides points tally in the Round 31 fixture of the Egyptian Premier League.
The former Bechem United skipper scored the opening goal for Al Ittihad at their Alexandria Stadium.
The Masters of the City came back from recess to bang-in two more goals to at the 66th and 71st minute to defeat National Bank 3-0.
Salifu was replaced in the 88th minute, as his Ghanaian compatriot Benjamin Bernard Boateng came off the bench to feature for Al Ittihad.
Salifu has now appeared in 22 league games for Al Ittihad in the ongoing campaign as they are tied on the 12th position on the log.
