Ghanaian defender Patrick Kpozo, who currently plays as a left-back for FC Sheriff Tiraspol, has expressed his aspiration to join English Premier League giants Chelsea FC for the upcoming 2023-24 season in Europe.
Kpozo, a self-proclaimed fan of Chelsea since his childhood, revealed his dream club and expressed his desire to wear the famous Blue jersey someday.
Speaking about his ambitions, he said, "I want to play in a competitive league. My dream club is Chelsea, I’m a Chelsea fan."
Having played a crucial role in FC Sheriff Tiraspol's successful domestic campaign this season, where they secured all the domestic trophies in Moldova, Kpozo's performances earned him his first call-up to the Ghana national team by head coach Chris Hughton for the AFCON qualifiers against Angola.
Although he had to wait for his debut, Kpozo finally made his first appearance for the national team in the match against Madagascar on Sunday, June 18, in Antananarivo.
