Ghana and Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey has lauded the impact his parents have had on him, having described them as not only caretakers but also his coaches as well.

The 29 year old has always been on top and is currently playing one of his best of football this season, reason he's been the engine of current Premier League leaders Arsenal.

The Gunners lead champions Manchester City with five points after 27 matches and will hope to maintain or prolly extend the gap further till the final day to end their almost twenty year abeyance of not having their hands gripped on the EPL title
 
Partey, has made 27 appearances in all competitions so far in the 2022/23 football season and has three goals to his belt.
 
In an interview with SuperSport, the ex- Athletico Madrid conjurer opened up on how vital his parents have been in his career and added his mom sometimes questions his performance after matches and identifies the cracks he should try patching up in his game.
 
"Both my parents are my coaches. There are instances during a game when I feel I can just chip the ball, but she [his mother] would be like, 'Why don't I just attempt shooting often'."
 
He will hope to make Mikel Arteta's line up for their all important fixture against Sporting CP in round 16 of the UEFA Europa League this Thursday.
