The Lithuanian second-tier league outfit has offered a two-week trial period for the former WAFA young attacker for a possible acquisition in the next transfer window.
Nations FC winger Emmanuel Ofori Agyemang has left the shores of Ghana to undergo trials at Lithuanian second-tier league outfit FK Babrungas.
The 20-year-old has been handed an opportunity to train with the first team of FK Babrungas and could be signed by the club if he excels at the end of his assessment sessions.
Nations FC in an official statement confirmed the departure of their left-footed winger to Lithuania for a 14-day trial.
“In a bid to explore new opportunities and expand his horizons, Nations Football Club’s winger, Emmanuel Agyeman, is gearing up for an exciting journey. The talented player is set to embark on trials with Lithuanian club FK Babrungas, marking a significant step in his career,” the statement reads.
“The trials is scheduled to commence from April 25th, 2024, and will run through until May 6th, 2024. During this period, Agyeman will have the opportunity to showcase his skills and abilities to the coaching staff of FK Babrungas”
Ofori Agyemang joined Nations FC prior to the start of the 2023-24 season from former Ghana Premier League campaigners West African Football Academy (WAFA).
He has scored one goal and provided an assist in 15 league appearances for Nations FC in their debut top-flight league campaign so far.
