Newly-found Black Stars centre-forward Inaki Williams sustained a knock in Athletic Bilbao 4-0 away win over Cadiz in the Spanish La Liga on Monday evening.
Williams, who opened his season's goal scoring account for Athletic Bilbao, was substituted before the hour-mark due to an injury.
The 28-year-old registered the opener for Athletic Bilbao with a fine strike on the 24th minute of the game.
He could have doubled the lead via a spot-kick and ended his day with a brace but he failed to score from the spot on 35th minute.
A brace from substitute Gorka Guruzeta and a 78th minute goal from Alex Berenguer aided the visitors to record a 4-0 big win over Cadiz at the Estadio Nuevo Mirandilla.
He was substituted on the 54th minute after picking up a knock which got him replaced by two-goal hero Gorka Guruzeta.
His younger brother Nico Williams was also in action for the San Mames Stadium outfit.
In July, Williams announced his decision to switch international allegiance to play for the senior national team of Ghana after turning down attempts from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) since 2016.
He is expected to earn his debut call-up to play for Ghana in next month's international friendly against Brazil
