English Premier League side Nottingham Forest are reportedly in advanced talks with Chelsea to sign winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Hudson-Odoi is surplus to requirements at Chelsea and has been training with their under-21s since returning from a loan spell at Bayer Leverkusen last season.
A potential move to Fulham has failed to materialise for Hudson-Odoi, 22, and Forest are now his most likely destination ahead of Friday's transfer deadline.
Hudson-Odoi, who was born in London to Ghanaian parents, was one of the stars of England's under-17 side who won the World Cup at their age group in 2017.
He went on to break into the Chelsea side but an Achilles injury in 2019 halted his progress and he is now set to move on in a bid to kickstart his career.
Hudson-Odoi was once regarded as one of the finest young attackers in world football but has struggled through injury and not being selected at Chelsea
He is eligible to represent Ghana at the senior national team level and was expected to announce his nationality switch to play for the West African nation at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
