The Belgian giants have handed the talented teenage sensation of Cameroonian lineage his first professional deal given his talent as a budding star
Belgian-born Cameroonian starlet Brandon Madjo has signed his first professional contract with Belgian Pro League top dog RSC Anderlecht, the club have confirmed.
The 15-year-old, who passed through the academy ranks of Union Saint-Gilloise, is joining the Lotto Park outfit from fellow league rivals KAA Gent and he is believed to have penned a long-term contract with his current employers.
A statement confirming the first professional contract of the Cameroon-prospect defender reads from the club's official website: ''Brandon Madjo (15 years old - January 18, 2011) has signed his first professional contract with Sporting. The left-footed central defender is tall for his age (1.80m) and possesses excellent technical skills.
''After a spell at Union Saint-Gilloise, the young Brussels native played for KAA Gent until recently. He is known as a calm, disciplined, and eager-to-learn player.
''Brandon is a defender who feels comfortable on the ball, is strong in build-up play, and enjoys infiltrating with the ball at his feet. He also possesses excellent game vision and is not afraid to take initiative from the back to break lines. Bienvenue chez les Mauves, Brandon.''
Given his talent, The Indomitable Lions technical bench will now be monitoring his progress from afar as he could become a sure bet for their senior national team in the near future.
