Ghana international David Abagna Sandan has completed a permanent move to join Kazakhstani side Ordabasy FC from Cypriot side APOEL Nicosia.

The 27-year-old midfielder leaves Cyprus after spending close to two years with APOEL, where he gained valuable experience at the European level.

Abagna now embarks on a new challenge in Kazakhstan as he looks to continue his development and make an impact with his new club especially after just returning from a long ACL injury.

The former Real Tamale United captain has previously featured for Wa All Stars, AshantiGold SC, Sudanese giants Al Hilal etc during his career.

At international level, Abagna has made seven appearances for Ghana, establishing himself as a reliable option in midfield.

He will now aim to settle quickly and become a mainstay at the Kajymukan Munaitpasov Stadium and contribute to the team’s ambitions in the Kazakhstani top flight.

The Blue and Whites are currently sitting in third position with four points and Abagna is most likely to have his debut against FC Kaisar later today.
