The 22-year-old winger of Ghanaian origin has completed his loan switch to the English second-tier side in this current summer transfer window
English Championship side Rotherham United F.C have secured the loan services of Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Arvin Appiah from Spanish La Liga side UD Almeria until the end of the 2023-24 football campaign.
The Millers have said the total completion of the deal is now "subject to ratification from the EFL, FA and international clearance" before the former Nottingham Forest U18 youth star could integrate with the rest of his team-mates for the new season.
"Rotherham United are delighted to confirm the season-long loan capture of UD Almeria winger Arvin Appiah, subject to ratification from the EFL, FA and international clearance," an excerpt of statement confirming the signing of the 22-year-old read.
"Appiah arrives as Matt Taylor’s eighth signing of the summer transfer window and will wear the number 30 shirt during his time in South Yorkshire."
He is joining the New York Stadium outfit for game time given his limited opportunity for first team actions in the Spanish top-flight this term.
The Amsterdam-born winger still remains eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana on the international stage despite playing for the England national youth teams.
