Former Asante Kotoko midfielder, Enoch Morrison has chosen to join Kenyan heavyweights Gor Mahia FC ahead of the new season despite having lots of offers at his disposal 

The 23-year-old left the shores of the country over the weekend and has signed a two-year deal with the 21-time Kenyan champions after a fruitful negotiations having passed all mandatory examinations.

The versatile middleman is part of the players that were jettisoned by Kotoko at the end of last season and was being chased by lots of clubs including Hearts of Oak but finally swerved all to switch to East Africa. 

Despite being released by Kotoko, Morisson has been a standout performer for the Porcupines, featuring in 53 matches and scoring six goals while providing four assists in his two seasons with the club.

In his first season with Kotoko, Morisson made 31 appearances, scoring three goals and providing two assists, before building on that form in his second season, featuring in 22 matches, scoring once and providing two assists.

Enoch Morrison is expected to start preseason with the Greens very soon in order to gel into his new club very well before the 2024/25 football season commences.
