Newly-promoted Ethiopian Premier League side, Ethio Electric Sport Club have announced the signing of Ghanaian goalkeeper Iddrisu Abdulai ahead of the 2024/25 football season.
The highly-rated goalkeeper was unveiled by the Red Devils earlier this morning after signing a year deal after a fruitful negotiations.
The 27-year-old's last spell was with Tanzanian side Azam FC but ended his stay with them after last season in what is described as lack of playing time having faced series of injuries during his time in Chamazi.
He joined the Bakers in the 2023 winter transfer window after a fantastic spell with Ghana Premier League side Bechem United- and was adjudged the league's best goalie after the 2021/22 football season.
The stalwart goalie having returned home, attracted interests from Hearts of Oak and other clubs and even linked with a possible return to Bechem United.
Iddrisu Abdulai kept an impressive 18 clean sheets in 31 games for Bechem United in the Ghana Premier League before leaving and was indispensable in their run to the MTN FA Cup final in 2022.
