The 22-year-old nimble left-footed player has completed his move to the Belgian top-flight outfit until the next three football seasons in the ongoing winter window 

Belgian Jupiler Pro League side OH Leuven have announced the signing of Ghanaian winger Emmanuel Toku on a three-year deal in the summit of Belgium football competition.

The talented attacking winger is joining the Den Dreef Stadium outfit on a free transfer after seeing out his contract with Bulgarian elite division side Botev Plovdiv this term.

The Belgian top-flight outfit have said " Toku is eligible to play as soon as his visa and work permit are in order," as they await him to team up with his colleagues for the rest of the current campaign.

"The Ghanaian attacking midfielder Emmanuel Toku (22) is coming to OH Leuven. He comes over from the Bulgarian Botev Plovdiv, the 10th in the Bulgarian Efbet Liga. Toku signs a contract with OH Leuven until 2026," an official statement over the signing of Toku reads.

OH Leuven manager Marc Brys spoke highly of the promising attacking midfielder having captured him in the ongoing transfer window.

"Toku is a young player with a lot of international experience. He brings us more attacking impulses in midfield and has a good shot," Brys told his club's communications network.

The former Ghana U-20 star player made over 42 appearances for Botev Plovdiv in all competitions during the 22/23 league campaign.

Toku is yet to be capped by Ghana at the men's senior national team, the Back Stars.
