The relegated German top-flight campaigners have announced the signing of the 23-year-old forward of Ghanaian parentage in the ongoing summer transfer window
German-born Ghanaian striker Ragnar Prince Friedel Ache has completed his loan move to Bundesliga ll side SpVgg Greuther Furth from Eintracht Frankfurt ahead of the 2022-23 football league season.
The ex-Sparta Rotterdam youth man failed to witness much game time in the just ended season with his parent club and has now been farmed out as he is not in the plans of manager Oliver Glasner for next term campaign.
Right after inking his loan deal with Greuther Furth, the former German U21 star said he is looking forward to getting more playing time in his bid to continue with his development as a youngster.
"I'm looking forward to a young team with great potential - and above all to more playing time. Fürth is a very good place for young players, and that's proven here year after year. I feel very good about my decision to come to Fürth and I want to have a very good time with the team and the fans," the forward told his club's official website
Sporting director Rachid Azzouzi patted the youngster on the back following his decision to join them at the expense of their rivals over his chase this summer.
“Ragnar has a very good disposition and examined many options in the summer, but made a conscious decision in favor of us. With him we'll get more opportunities going forward," Azzouzi said to his club's communications network.
Ache, whose current deal with Eintracht Frankfurt expires in June 2025, featured in 13 league games for the Waldstadion outfit in the 2021-22 football season.
He is still eligible to switch allegiance to represent the national team of Ghana at the international level despite featuring for the Germany U21 national youth team.
