Süper Lig club Kayserispor have signed Ghanaian defender Gideon Jung on a one-year contract in this ongoing summer transfer window, the club have confirmed.
The 30-year-old is linking up with The Anatolian Star on a free transfer after severing ties with German 2. Bundesliga side Greuther Fürth this summer.
ln announcing their deal plus an option of extension to another year with the Ghana-prospect defender, those in charge of the Kadir Has Stadium said through their official Facebook Account: ''1+1 year contract has been signed between Gideon Jung and our club. We wish success to our footballer under our glorious uniform."
He figured in 25 games by netting and assisting once for Greuther Fürth in the 2. Bundesliga in the recently concluded 2024-25 campaign.
After playing for the Germany U21 national team, Jung still remains fit to play for Ghana on the international stage given his Ghanaian heritage.
