The 26-year-old midfielder has completed his transfer move to the Portuguese top-flight side from their league rivals in this ongoing winter window

Primeira Liga side Casa Pia have announced the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Lawrence Ofori from elite division rivals Moreirense FC.

The former Leixões SC U19 star is joining the Casapianos in a deal believed to be a one-and-a-half year contract after severing ties with the Liga Portugal outfit this January.

The Lisbon-based club took to their official social media accounts to announce the capturing of the former WAFA SC graduate as it reads on lnstagram ''He is here! Lawrence Ofori assina pelo Casa Pia AC!''

The landing of the 26-year-old attacking midfielder would now come as a morale booster for manager Álvaro Pacheco as he bids to salvage their Premiership status at the end of the season given their turbulent outings so far this term.

Ofori has a vast experience in the Portuguese top-flight competition having taken in spells with CD Feirense,  Leixões SC, Moreirense FC and FC Famalicão so far.

He is yet to earn his cap with the Ghana senior men's national team, the Black Stars on the international stage.
