Ghanaian midfielder Nana Welbeck has completed his move to Serie C club Unione Sportiva Livorno on a one-year contract, the club have confirmed.
The veteran enforcer is linking up with the Stadio Armando Picchi campaigners on a free transfer after leaving fellow lower division compatriots Lucchese Calcio at the end of the 2024-25 campaign.
The ltalian outfit took to their micro-blogging platforms to announce the capturing of the former Catania man via Facebook Account: ''Nana Welbeck is a new player for Unione Sportiva Livorno 1915! A highly experienced midfielder, he has made over 140 appearances in Serie C for Catania, Catanzaro, and Lucchese. Now he's ready to wear the Amaranth shirt. Benevento Nana!''
The capturing of the former Atalanta BC midfielder will serve as a great reinforcement for manager Paolo Indiani given his vast experience in the ltalian football competitions having had spells with Atalanta BC, Catania, Brescia and Catanzaro in his career so far.
Welbeck remains fit to represent the Ghana Senior National Men's Team on the international stage.
