The former Club Brugge youth midfield player has sealed his move to the newly-promoted Swedish top-tier side and will have his current terms expire in the next three football seasons
Swedish Allsvanskan side Västerås SK have announced the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Samuel Asoma on a three-year deal.
Thr 21-year-old, who has had a stint with Dalkurd FF in Sweden, is joining the Superettan Champions on a free transfer ahead of the upcoming Allsvanskan top-flight division contest.
"VSK Fotboll and Belgian Samuel Asoma, 21, with last club address in Dalkurd, agree on an agreement that extends over three years," an excerpt of a statement confirming the signing of the midfield player read via the club's official website.
The Ghana-prospect has shared his excitement right after appending his signature to the deal, with a return to the Swedish football competitions now certain in his football career, telling the club's communications network: "I am very happy to be back in Sweden, I enjoyed myself very well here when I played for Dalkurd. I am very much looking forward to playing in the Allsvenskan with VSK."
The Berekum-born player having migrated to Belgium at a very young age, is still eligible to switch allegiance and represent Ghana on the international stage despite playing for the Belgian U15, U16, U17, U18 & U19 national youth teams.
