Ghanaian midfielder Shaka Mawuli has signed a two-year contract extension with Serie C side SS Arezzo, the club have confirmed.
The ex-FC Sudtirol enforcer excelled during his loan stint at the Stadio Città di Arezzo during the 2023-24 football season. However, such splendid outing left the Amaranto with no option than to go for his permanent signing upon his contract expiration.
An official statement over the contract extension of the towering midfielder read via the club's official website: ''Società Sportiva Arezzo is pleased to announce the contract renewal of midfielder Shaka Mawuli Eklu , who has signed a new two-year deal expiring on June 30 , 2028. The Sunyani-born midfielder is yet to earn his international cap for Ghana at the Senior National Team level, the Black Stars.
