The 24-year-old Right to Dream Academy product has completed his transfer move to the Swedish relegated top-tier side in this ongoing winter transfer window

Ghanaian winger Isaac Atanga has joined Swedish Superettan side Kalmar FF on a two-year deal from Norwegian Second-Tier side Aalesunds FK, the club have confirmed.

The former FC Nordsjaelland widesman is linking up with the Guldfågeln Arena campaigners ahead of the 2024-25 football season in the Swedish lower division contest after enduring a difficult spell with the Norwegian First Division outfit in this current campaign.

An excerpt of an officiating confirmation over the capturing of the Ghanaian winger read: ''Kalmar FF has agreed with Ålesund on a transfer for striker Isaac Atanga, who has today signed a 2-year contract with the club.''

Right after completing his transfer move to the Red brothers, Atanga had this to say via the club's official website: ''It feels really good to come to Kalmar FF. The ambitions and goals of the club attracted me to come here. After talking to the sports director and the coach, it felt like a very exciting venture and a game idea that suits my way of playing football. I hope we can do good things together and I will do my best to help the team get back to Allsvenskan.''

Sporting director Peter Swärdh added: ''Isaac has a background in FC Nordsjälland where he made his debut as a 19-year-old. He made an impression with his speed and challenging playing style. In Kalmar he will be a player who starts from the wing and will create problems for the opponents both with and without the ball. We welcome Isaac to Kalmar FF and look forward to being part of his development over the next two years.''

Before parting company with Ålesund FK, Atanga featured in 5 league game appearances in this current Norwegian First Division camapign.

He is yet to be cap-tied by Ghana men's senior national team, the Black Stars at the international level
