The ex-Black Starlet budding forward has completed his move to the Czech Republic top-flight campaigners in this ongoing summer transfer window

Ghanaian forward Benjamin Nyarko has joined Czech First League side FC Slovan Liberec on a four-year deal, the club have confirmed.

The 20-year-old frontman joins the Blue-Whites from Austrian second division side FC Lafnitz ahead of the new football campaign.

An excerpt of official confirmation of the signing of the Ghanaian youngster reads; "Liberec - After Michal Hlavaty and Martin Rýzek, Slovan reports its third reinforcement this week. The Liberec team will be completed by 20-year-old offensive player Benjamin Nyarko, who comes from Lafnitz in Austria and signed a four-year contract under Ještěd."

Nyarko had this to say immediately after appending his signature to the terms, telling the club's official website; " I think that being in Slovan Liberec is the best option for me, because I will get a chance to advance my career and develop further. And from now on I expect more from myself because I have a team around me that is friendly and everyone is nice. It is a place for development. They don't act like teammates, they act like family. And wherever there is family, there is love and support. So it's great that I'm here."

Club's chief Jan Nezmar added on his new found striker; "We have been watching Benjamin for a long time, he is a speedy type of attacker who is also durable in duels, and we lacked this typology in the team. In addition, he is still very young and therefore there is a prerequisite for further development. We believe that he will see further progress with us."

Nyarko is yet to earn his international cap with the men's senior national team the Black Stars.
