The ex-AIK attacking midfielder has completed his move to the Lithuanian top division side after leaving Danish Superliga side Vejle Boldklub during the winter transfer window

Ghana international midfielder Ebenezer Ofori has joined Lithuanian A Lyga side FK Žalgiris in an undisclosed period of contract, the club have confirmed.

The former VfB Stuttgart man is joining the current League Champions on a free transfer after being released by the Danish top-flight outfit given his uninspiring performances so far this term.

An excerpt of official confirmation over the signing of the 29-year-old read via the club's official website: ''Lithuanian champion Žalgiris added another newcomer to its ranks during the international break – a contract was signed with experienced Ghanaian midfielder Ebenezer Ofori.''

''The 29-year-old player has accumulated solid experience - he has represented the Ghana men's national team and competed in the US, German, Swedish, and Danish championships.''

With this latest move, Ofori will be hopeful of having a positive debut season in the Lithuanian elite division contest for the 2025-26 football season.

The former Ghana U20 star currently boasts of 9 caps with the Senior Men's National Team, the Black Stars with a goal to his name.
